Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition Final Assignment
The intent of the assignment will be to have students create a video representation revealing the impact of this year’s course of study on their cognitive development. Students should create a video using the criteria listed below.
Video Criteria:
* Be creative.
* Have fun, but use proper judgment.
* This is an assignment for school, so if you are unsure about appropriate decorum, ask before you start work on the video.
* You may wish to mine the Internet for examples of students’ videos.
* We will view some videos during class, and use the rubric to evaluate them, so students will clearly understand the expectations.
* Students may work in groups, but be sure the final product represents the work of all group members.
* All groups must submit a written explanation of what they plan to do, and the roles of each team member.
* The final product should include a substantial reference to the specific literature read this year.
* All videos will be due June 4th.
* Students are welcome to attend the viewing of videos during other class periods.
* We will spend some class time developing students’ approach to the assignment.
