I recognize that the sentences may be formulaic... just try to "play along."
Select 8 verbs from the Blog verb list and use them to "craft" 8 different sentences:
* 2 simple
* 2 compound
* 2 complex
* 2 compound/complex
Use a short story read this year as the impetus for the sentences.
(write some form of literary criticism)
Label the sentence types and underline the verbs used.
